Educate. Advocate. Eradicate.

The Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition Fund (GBCCF) is working to make a difference for the more than 6,000 women in Georgia who are diagnosed with breast cancer each year.  Since 1994, GBCCF has been instrumental in breast cancer education and advocacy. Through our collaborative efforts with the National Breast Cancer Coalition and other breast cancer advocates, dollars earmarked for breast cancer research have quadrupled and the fight to eradicate breast cancer has been brought to the forefront of the public’s awareness.

NBCC’s Annual Advocacy Conference Has a New name
The National Breast Cancer Coalition will host its annual conference in Washington, DC, May 5-8, 2012.  The conference was renamed the NBCC Annual Advocate Summit to reflect NBCC’s commitment to Breast Cancer Deadline 2020.  The Summit is geared toward advocates of all experience levels and serves as NBCC’s national meeting of breast cancer advocates from around the world.  This year, NBCC aims to have more than 1,000 attendees at the Summit.  Sessions include the latest scientific research, training in effective advocacy strategies and presentations by respected researchers in the field, grassroots leaders and prominent public policy experts.  Registration is now open.  The deadline to submit a scholarship application for conference registration and/or hotel accommodations is February 10, 2012.  Join GBCCF advocates at this moving event and make a real difference for breast cancer patients, current and future!

Show Your Support

You can make a difference!

GBCCF and the National Breast Cancer Coalition support the Accelerating the End of Breast Cancer Act.  This important piece of legislation is an integral part of Breast Cancer Deadline 2020.  It focuses on ending the disease by identifying strategies for the primary prevention of breast cancer and identifying methods to prevent breast cancer metastasis, ultimately saving lives.  Email your member of Congress and ask them for their support.

Together we can make a difference!
