Each year, we ask the House and the Senate
to sign on to letters to the DOD appropriations committee leadership to
support the Department of Defense (DOD) peer-reviewed Breast Cancer
Research Program. This year's House of Representatives letter in support
has already begun circulating. We are asking that the program be
level-funded at $150 million and we need your help!
Please contact your state Representatives TODAY to urge them to make a difference
in the fight against breast cancer by signing the letter. We especially
would like to reach out to Georgia's Rep. Hank Johnson (D-4th), Rep. Tom
Price (R-6th), Rep. John Barrow (D-12th) and Rep. Sanford Bishop
(D-2nd). Thank you in advance for joining us in the fight to end breast cancer!
